Hello guys,

I have a pace 1000 stb and im trying to change my net id from 09999 to the right one for my area C&W.

Im using libby with a usb to rs232, but i cant get it to work

for some reason, is there anyone out there knows what im doing wrong ?

Hope to hear from anyone that can help me!

Libby doesnt work on most boxes anymore as theyve been hit with an update that stops it working, for jtag use ocd commander bke v2 or sammy debug tool.
use funcard net id v2 to set net id.

Can jtag be used on a pace 1000 ?

Do i still need my usb-rs232 cable to use those programs ?

as you have already been told, if you know ur ird and boxkey you can use net id to reset it.

wasnt sure what net id v2 was sorry.

Do i need to write a funcard with net id v2, as i have my ird and boxkey...cos really not sure where to go from here

Yes pull the red jumper first , programme the card with net id v2 files its quite straight forward youl see when you do it, then put the card in , once its done freeveiw channels will work, then re-programme card with whatever auto updating file your using rhv1 and chaos 3 etc.

No sorry its led sim on 1000, it doesnt matter if you have direct connection instead of parrallel cable.
