hi yatik
I had a sony cybershot for a few years but wasn't happy with it. The flash just about killed some friends and the night shots were poor. Also the color quality wasn't great on some outdoor shots.
I just bought a new canon, recommended by a friend who has the same one. Only had it for a few days, but my friend's photos look awesome so i'm sure its a great camera. here's a link for ya

Hey yatik,
just tried to post something, but don't think it worked: so i'll try again. I recommend the canon digital IXUS 70.
I had a sony cybershot for a few years but it wasn't great. Flash just about killed some friends it was so bright, and the color quality was poor.
But this canon is really cool. Got it because a friend has the same one

Nikon for me, but you don't mention Nikon, so suppose you don't want one.
