Can anyone tell me where I might pick up English speaking documentry programs, preferably free of charge? Or how I can obtain them reletively cheaply?

If you can receive 1 West, Digi TV is currently available, and has a number of quality documentary channels.
We will need to know what satellite equipment you have, receiver, Cams, dish, etc, to provide further help.

I have purchased, but not yet set up, a Technomate 1500 CM+Super Receiver, with a TM-2200 motor and a 80cm dish.

A good 80cm dish should get you a picture on 1W, and the Technomate, when patched, will open everyting currently available.

Hi southern, I do not mean to be a smartar*e, but I think that you mean 15W, not 12W. I just tell you this so it can be corrected in order that our new members can get the correct information. If I am wrong then please forgive me. I would also say that on 15W you get NG Wild.

Hi Southern,
The sat I am eluding to is Telstar @15W, you might be seeing that the sat is actually called Telstar 12. but it is situated at 15 degrees West.
