Default Null cable

can anyone help;

My laptop doesn't have anywhere to plug the null cable into so any suggestions are welcome as there are plenty of geniuses here.

Cheers

Be warned buying a convertor as this only worked for me when I used Voxer to load older versions of the software.

When new unified loader versions came out they couldn't find the box using the serial to USB cable.

Mine is a desktop so ended up installing Serial Port PCI card.

It shouldn't make any difference, assuming you buy a decent one and install the proper drivers.

It is worth messing around with com ports to make sure that it is assigned Com 1 or 2.

I use these all the time in my job and assuming the above is done it shouldn't make any difference whatsoever

Some people have had problems getting the USB adapters to work with Vista, the drivers for most of them seem to work OK with XP, when installed properly.
