It was on the BBC news last night that the attempt was delayed due to bad weather, then a few minutes later "Breaking News" that it had been shot down. They will know if the fuel tank was destroyed within 24 hours.

I wonder if it would have been so important to shoot this down if the Chinese hadn't recently done a Satellite shoot down test?
