Default Modem Troubles

Hi all.

I took my cracked modem round to a friends house to sniff out some Mac adresses, i've just brought it home again and now it wont connect.

I'm currently using my sub modem.

Does anyone know what could have caused this?

Thanks.

Lol, sorry mate. Dont know what i was expecting from that really.

Its a Ntl 250 modem. When it boots up, enet lights up, ready lights up. Send flashes but no recieve. And there's no sync. But im not sure if thats because it's cracked.

Windows vista says connected Network 2, but Local only.

Thanks.

Thanks for looking mate.

I didnt crack this modem myself i bought it allready cracked. But I have all the equiptment to do one myself. just havnt had the time to try yet.

i dont know too much about the frequency. does this depend on the area you are in. And is there a way to find out what it should be.

also what software would be needed. i think i have most.

thanks s much for taking the time to help me out.

Hope the favour can be returned one day.

Thanks
