Hi guys, hope you can help me out.
Im based in South Dublin, we have just connected a EuroVox maxV to our N*L line. Unfortunately we are only able to get 95 channels based on 6.887. Dont seem to be able to pick anything else up on any other frequency. I had a look at the list of numbers, freq. and channels in the other thread, however all of the channel freq. picked up by my box are slightly different. Also i have no idea how to manually add a channel. I tried last night and it deleted everything! Any advice would be most appreciated! Cheers Ryan |

What part of Dublin are you in? You need to clear your channel data and rescan again, but make sure you are doing it from the direct feed into the cable in socket on the back of the EV.
You need to go to menu, config, clear data and then clear channel data. Then do a normal powerscan from 290.000 to 403.000 using symbol rate 6887 N*L. After that just do an update channel, (red button in user installation), to pull the channels in. |

North Dublin frequencies are 291.00, 299.00, 307.00, 315.00, 323.00, 339.00, 347.00, 355.00, 363.00, 371.00, 379.00, 393.00 and 403.00/
To manually set frequencies: Go to User Installation Menu 1. Select channel to be amended Press Green button - 'Channel Edit' then Blue button - 'Modify' 2. Change frequency to the correct value Press OK 3. To add missing frequencies Press Green button - 'Channel Edit' then Red button - 'Add' 4. Strictly in the given order: Type in the Symbol Rate 6.887 Type in the frequency required Select CH NUM and press the INFO button on your remote and type in the new Channel Number Press OK 5. Press Exit to return to User Installation screen Press Red button - 'Update Channels' (at this point your TV screen may go blank for bout 5/10 mins but don't panic this is normal). You will pick up the TV stations this way - happy viewing ![]() |

cheers folks, im in Greystones kinda South Dublin/Wicklow.
I have the cable plugged into the RF in port on the back of the box. Ive tried to manually put in the channel frequencies, however it doesnt seem to find any channels for those.. The frequencies i have channels under are as follows - 0001 - 258.000mhz - 6.887mbaud - QAM64 0002 - 274.000mhz - 6.887mbaud - QAM64 0003 - 290.000mhz - 6.887mbaud - QAM64 0004 - 306.000mhz - 6.887mbaud - QAM64 0005 - 322.000mhz - 6.887mbaud - QAM64 0006 - 338.000mhz - 6.887mbaud - QAM64 0007 - 354.000mhz - 6.887mbaud - QAM64 0008 - 370.000mhz - 6.887mbaud - QAM64 0009 - 386.000mhz 0 6.887mbaud - QAM64 i dont seem to be able to get any other channel frequencies load. If i enter them manually, they dont find anything either. Its plugged directly into the N*L box on the wall. We dont have an N*L subscription. Do we need the basics? I have 95 channels, all the movies and sports, most entertainment channels and some of the TV channels. Any help is much appreciated. Cheers Ryan |

Hey radaudiodesigns - if you can get all the sports and movie channels without paying the basic subscription then why bother getting connected to N*L at all?
I always assumed you needed the basic package otherwise you wouldn't pick up any channels at all |

radaudiodesigns it has nothing to do with your package, its your area. Greystones in parts is fed by an MMDS transmitter and then communally fed onto cable, that may be your lot for now or at least until it is fully upgraded.
Presume these are the TV channels you are getting: Channel Frequency ======= ========= RTE One 306000 RTE Two 306000 TV3 306000 TG4 306000 City Channel 258000 Channel 6 354000 BBC1 322000 BBC2 322000 BBC3 370000 BBC4 370000 CBBC 370000 Cbeebies 370000 BBC News 24 370000 BBC World 370000 UTV 322000 Channel 4 322000 E4 306000 E4+1 354000 More4 354000 Sky One 322000 Sky Two 322000 Sky News 338000 CNN 386000 CNBC 258000 UKTV Gold 386000 Dave 258000 Bravo 306000 Living TV 306000 Paramount Comedy 306000 Paramount 2 338000 Hallmark 386000 Reality TV 354000 E! 386000 Discovery 290000 Discovery Civiliastion 290000 Disc. Hi
newbie here so hopefully this is correct place to post I have the eurovox too and when I do a powerscan it only picks up 29channels that don't save. I have followed most of the guides on here deleting channels etc. I think that it must be down to the scan. I set the scan at 6887 running from 100 to 890. I've got the cable plugged in to the RF and the scart plugged in to tv What am I doing wrong??? I'm in Paisley and use v***en (previously N*L) All suggestions welcome |
