hi, my eurovox ultra (dreambox clone) has started playing up and i was wondering how do i fix this, i dont have it connected to the internet and dont know if that makes a differance, thanks

You can use dreamup to change the image over a null-modem cable.

sorry iv not been able to respond for a while, my modem blew up and this is thee first time i could get back on

anyway, when smirgin smedia changed the codes (when the starview codes changed) my eurovox ultra started playing up, pixelating

i also had the same prob with my itgate 220 however after asking about it i was told to change the cam and goto animal planet and theen reboot which solved the prob on the itgate

is there anyway to do this or something like this on the eurovox ultra?

I thought the ITGate was another dreambox clone, in which case it will likely have the same image. I doubt that a code update would cause pixelization.

Some images will have internet updates available, so if your box is internet enabled, you can download another emu.

IIRC, you hold down the Blue button to access the emu menu, you may also be able to change tuner drivers and other settings.

Lincsat Itgate has a different image than the Dreambox, dont think you can use a similar image although I stand to be corrected.

You can use any dreambox 500c image. Im using the DW2.0 Image. Works for me!

As lincsat said, if you have it set-up on your network you can download many different tuner drivers and emu to unscramble the channels!

Ive had no problems at all with this box and even got the PVR feature working on my pc!

Very strange as I have just checked this out and they are not compatible, (Itgate), with DW and in regards to PVR functionality would that not require a PVR??

No you can set up the 500 with you pc and use it as a PVR. It just uses you home network to stream the data! You can also watch the dreambox on your pc!

These boxes are awsome but no good if you want somthing easy to set-up!
