Are you running emails through Outlook?
If so, just ensure Outlook is installed on your laptop as well. Then on your original laptop, surf to the following area: My Computer > C (if your default drive is C) > Documents and Settings > Your user name > Local Settings > Application Data > Microsoft > Outlook and save the files in there. Then ensure you close Outlook on your original laptop and don't use it! Then upload those files to the corresponding file area on your new laptop. That should automatically save all your emails and most everything there - the one thing I haven't been able to save this way is the account login data, so I've then had to set up the email accounts manually - usually not a problem unless you have a ton! Then on your new laptop, click on send/receive and you should have a continuity of service. ![]() |
