Hi,
Just got the box today and hooked it up. But i cant get any stations. all it says it " channel not currently available" when i push the buttons to select a different channel nothing happes. I look at the front of the machine of the number just stay at 0000 -- I have plugged the cable lead into the rf socket and when i search for the extra channels i get nothing. Is it because the cable is live and i'm receiving the basic package that i cannot get the other channels up? Just to add the cable is a working lead as when i plugged it back into my virgin box i got the channels straight back. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Sounds like it is flashed but not scanned. Press menu, installation, user installation,(if it asks for a pin use 1004). Press yellow button and do a full powerscan on your provider symbol rate, 6887 for N**, 6952 for others.
When scan completes, exit back to user installation, you should now see a lot of frequencies, (TPs), press red button to update channels. Screen will go blank for a minute,it will then pull in the channels for you. After scan exit all the way out to view channels. If it says updating codes put it on Sly sports and let it update. |

Hi there, I have a very big problem with my Eurovox Max v box.
So I think I have messed this box up bigtime It was working before I had all the channels and they were working. One day turned my box on and said 'please wait to update channels' on every channel that showed up ( I think everyone's box was down) I though something was wrong, So I decided to erase all my channels and factory default my box. Turned it off and then turned it on again as soon as I turned it on it said 'channel currently not available' So then I went into the menu and went into 'user installation' put the pin number in and then did a full powerscan. At the time of the powerscan nothing was showing So let it go to the end ( I think which was about 770 channels) and no channels came up.After that my box has messed up and haven't been able to get it working. I have a full signal and my level is at 90% which isn't the problem just the channels not showing up when I do a powerscan. Anything I can do like put a frequency code in or something? Any help would be much appreciated ![]() Thanks. |

Ok the first thing you need to do is get your box back up and running from its current state
Google the bigMAQ toolbar and install it. There is an icon on this toolbar 'Latest Keys' - make a note of the keys for your provider. Now you need to manually update the keys on your box by following ronsters instructions here Ronsters Quick fix for updating keys Once this is done you follow satsmos instructions on the second post of this page. Now you should have all your channels back. Now you need to update the firmware on your box - look here for the how-to Ronsters Guide To Flashing Box For Newbies Any questions you have about this - do a search of this section first as the answer is probably already given. If you still need help, post your question here again and someone will answer ![]() Good luck |

Hi, I had the same problem as 'wolveslindy' and also followed 'satsmox' advice however I get only about half the channels I used to. I tried the method twice but still get very few channels. I recently updated to the 18/4 firmware and everything was ok until today when I noticed some channels had become pixilated as so chose the update channels option.
Any help would be appreciated. |
