Hi, I have just installed my new system and all seems to be working fine, I have bought a 8gb USB flash memory stick to install new software on the receiver, help please on how to do it, I have downloaded the latest patch from Alsat.

You un-compress the patch and put it on the memory stick, put the stick in the receiver and from the receiver remote go into the USB menu and apply the patch

Done as you said, worked for me with a flash drive and my portable hdd

Is a 1gb flash big enough for the patch?

I use 256MB stick found in the gutter :scarry..:

Your stick would give you enough room for about 850 patches at the same time mate

yes as the patches are 1.5mb at most last time i did it this way
