It's Nagravision, but what version I don't know, The satellite is way off what we can see in Europe, and Techwatch is not a sat hack site anyway.

Hi, First and foremost this is not the place to ask for keys or any hacks. There are three versions of Nagra encryption, 1,2 and what has been called 3. Nagra three is the latest version of it and has been in operation since around September last year.

Where are you living, because if you are anywhere in the British Isles you have no hope of ever receiving that sat, or any other near that location? The birds in that section of the sky are well below the line of sight from here.

Keys are what unscrambles pay to view channels, they are used in softcams to unscramble these channels. The keys can be used in two ways, they can be entered into a cam ( conditional access module ) or used in the cams, built into the software of some receivers and in this case they are called EMUs.

Hope this is of some help to you, but please remember that if you are after keys or hacks then you would be well advised to look further, because you will not get them here.

Yes, all the providers will have different keys, and also they may change them regurlarly as well, sometimes within minutes, sometimes a few times a day, sometimes a lot longer.

Nagravision 1 & 2 have been hacked, but you would need the keys and the provider ID as well.

Hi,
An EMU is just the shortened form of EMULATOR, so called because it emulates a cam.

A cam is the item which you put into the slot, usually on the fromt of the box. You might have an IC slot, which is where the cam goes, and a card slot. The IC slot is the one with the largest opening and the card slot is the smaller opening, because it only takes the thin card. A cam is not a card, it is as i said in my last a CONDITIONAL ACCESS MODULE.

A cam may be only one encryption i.e. it will only "decode" one or other of the encryptions around NAGRA, VIACCESS, IRDETO, CRYPTOWORKS and so on.

A cam can also have multi-encryption decoding capabilities i.e. it can be used to decode an encryption and will also have the softcam keys in it to decode the pay per view channels. These softcam keys need to be updated on a regular basis, either by using a Cas Interface II or III, you can also enter the softcam keys using the remote control.

I have not explained this very well and maybe someone can give you a better grasp on what is what, but I have tried my best. It all seems to be a bit confusing at first, but all becomes clear very quickly.

yes now i have a bit of an idea about cam and emu

so my next question is what does MDWrapper.dll and s2emu do?

and as robbo has said i beside nagra2 "decrypters" i need the keys and provider ID

so where do i get the key and provider id of intelsat701-sky pacific
