anybody can tell me witch Technomate receiver is Best ?

Technomate TM-1000D or Technomate TM-1500CI ?

& what is diffrence between them ?

The 1000D is a totally Free to air receiver with no cam slot or card reader, where as the 1500 CI+ has a cam slot and a card reader

Unless you are going to buy a subscriber card (Wont work with Sky card) or a Cam theres no difference really.

In all honesty both receivers are as patchable as each other and will only open the same stuff as each other

To be honesty i would be looking at the new 5000 series Technomates as the 1000 series is getting on a bit now

That is right, the 5200 is the equivalent of the 1000
the 5400CI+ is the equivalent of the 1500CI+

But with the 5000 series you get 10000 channel storage(Instead of 5000) and PVR ready and data transfer capabilities using the USB port.

Lincsat is selling the 5200 for about £50, so unless you see a 1000D going really cheap, its not worth buying.

Well, the TM5400CI+ also has a CAM slot, and it is an updated version of the TM1500CI+ so the TM5400CI+ is better.

When you start messing about with multiple satellites, the 5000 channel memory can soon get filled up if you are not very good at housekeeping.

The 5200,5300 and 5400 all have PVR capability via the USB port and an external HDD. There were problems reported with it not working properly, but I think most of the issues have now been resolved,
