Default Andrew Satelllite Communications is now ASC Signal

Andrew sold the satcom division recently and will no longer sell the antennas you are used to.

The division was bought by ASC Signal in the USA.

From now all sales are thru ASC Signal.

Don't really know to be honest, i talked to the manager of Andrew Nordics and he told me i could not order anymore thru them as they sold the satcom division.

My country is pretty much dead when it comes to satfreaks, but i guess they still use the same distributors as Andrew did, when looking at the site Eurosat was one of them.

Looking at the finances of Andrew their satcom business was not going well at all, the reason they sold it, Andrew makes alot of money in the WiFi market now, that's where the money is today for some time until that gets saturated as well.

Just emailed them and asked about the polar mount for the 1.2m & 1.8m to see if they will start making them and got a email back

Thanks *********,

It's true that this week (yesterday evening in fact) the SatCom group at Andrew has split away to become ASC Signal Corpn, and I expect that at some point we will start putting the new ASC Signal logo on our dishes in place of the Andrew flash. But I am not sure when that will be.

I will get back as soon as I can about the polar mount.

Best Regards

Chris Norland

The molds are pretty old by now, must be like 20 years old, if you can get original Channel Master then it's surely better.

Some warehouses still have old stock of Channel Master they can't get rid of.

I would be interested to see there answer regarding the polar mounts.

Im sure my 1.2m is an early version, as it doesn't even have the channel master logo sticker on. There is a number on it I will take a look tomorrow and post it.

Where, where?

There must be somewhere I can get a 1.8m cheaper than the 10kSEK that Satpro in Malmö want...
