Default Eurovox max problem? any1 help plz

HI

Well my problem is my euro vox box wont switch on i've tried various new power leads and still the same.

the other day i switched a bathroom lightswitch and all my electricity tripped. everything was ok but since this happened it wont switch back on any ideas?

is it possible to blow it or short it out?

any ideas on helping me revive it would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds to me like some sort of protection device in the box may have tripped ...dont know how tech you are or whether you want to try this but there may be a reset button on the PCB inside the box you can press ...failing that it could almost be anything causing the problem and would need someone like a TV engineer perhaps to sort out ...hope you get it sorted ...

Hi not 100% but im sure ive read on this forum that there is a internal fuse that blows. open the case up with the power off and have a look got nothing to lose by looking unless it's under warranty if so contact supplier and tell him its stopped working and send it back just leave out the tripped electric good luck.

its almos certainly the capacitor at C14 that has popped cost about 50p and a 10 minute job. you'll know its this if its bulging at the top compared to the other caps.
