OK I did some googling around and think I roughly understand the concept of the UBR and that I have to find someone in a different UBR but in the same city and then run DHCPforce on their machine to sniff for MACS?

Thanks for your help so far. I think the problem I'm going to face is that when flashing 100 or 120 modems the tutorial needs me to have a bunch of files which I've been struggling to locate. The method for flashing needs the files to be uploaded from hyperterminal and needs the files already downloaded on a local folder on the PC.

The tutorials own download page (h) has dead links and I've tried googling around and can't find the files anywhere.

If someone could help me here I'd really appreciate it. The files I need are>

IMH-A120-2.40.3212-SHELLED.bin
