i am thinking of flashing my modem.

do i have to sniff mac addresses at my home or a friends home which is in a different ubr. If i have to use a friends cn i sniff with his unflashed modem or do i have to sniff with the flashed modem which i have right now.

And also if i do get my modem flashed would i still be capped if i download 3 gb of data

u will need to sniff mac addresses from your mates house. You can use his unflashed modem . you cant use a router tho, his modem has to be directly connected to the cable wire.
