Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4000dvb?

Hi there, i just wanted to ask if and how could i get the bk from a couple of Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4000dvb telewest boxes that i have bought from a car boot sale.

Any help would be much appreciated.

engineers menu dont matter, have u an unlooper to see if u can open cards?

No i don't have a unlooper but if thats what i need then will have to one? but how do i get in to eng menu to see if it's paired?

have u ever done any other boxs? because this one if the card isnt paired has to have 2 chips removed unsoldered and then placed in a programmer to be read, so with ur unlooper and a programmer its quite an outlay.

i never done a box before, so do you think i should just sell them on and try to get a pace or samsung box? And in your opinion which box is easy to do pace or sumsung?

s.a rar is in downloads if u want to look? best box in my mind is that that can be jtagged or read with pnp led simm, but if u dont have a programmer, jtag interface and cable, and a card, its near as cheap geting one of the other boxs available.

Also i have a pace di4000 t telewest box which i have also got but when powering up it says nit for maybe 5 seconds then then works fine but what does NIT mean? and there is a telewest card with it but don't know how to get in eng menu to see if card paired,

u in telewest area? turn of power hold in up & down buttons power on hold buttons in untill u see diag let go.
