hi kktreblek ,very interesting thread i have a place near guardamar and i also havent space for large dish
you may find this interesting ive tried to receive these signals, without subscription a normal lnb and minidish will work, but all but one chan is scrambled my neibour who pays has no CARD and they provided a bushman fta box and minidish for him.
this got me thinking so i borrowed his lnb and bingo it worked i then found that they transmit on 9.54mhz which means a standard lnb ,local osc frequency, wont work
this started a QUEST to find out more about this mystery lnb ,its made specially for them and must have a lower local osc freq ,ive hunted on a few forums for more info on modifing a normal lnb ,some are adjustable to allow the l/o freq to be reduced
finally there are many of thers rebroadcasters some share the transmitter mast ,some scramble some dont ,the ones that dont rely on no one sourcing a suitable lnb im out again in jan and i am going to try a circular polarised lnb bought on e bay ,its normally only used in USA ill mkeep you informed jimbo
