yes the 1224 can fit i believe up to 4inch pole so 3 inch is fine and it will go further than a polar mount and jack
but if you get the version with the elevation actuator then you will be restricted to the west i think as the motor will hit the dish a very good motor and well built, you will be surprised as its massive in size SUPERJACK H-H MOUNT

![]() But I could only get the one transponder on 7W, now I get most of the verticals. And the worst thing is my wife with the aid of my son have discovered my new dish. ![]() ![]() My answer, "Well for my birthday I'd like a DigitAlb subscription too,and I'm not taking the dish down" ![]() |

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know where I can get spares for my Super Jack Harl 3618. I had a look today and have discovered that the large plastic cog, the one that is on the end of the screw, has not got the lugs that the magnet for the reed sensor. I must, at some stage, tightened the screw that holds the magnet to the cog, and it was not in place, because as far as I could tell the lugs have been flattened. After I fitted the cog and tried moving the dish the it went for a wee bit then stopped, so I think that the magnet is not spinning and the reed sensor is not getting any feed from it. If anyone has an old bu**ered actuator and has a good good one of the cogs I have described above, then I will buy it from them. I have searched for the part, but can't find anywhere that sells them, even the Jaeger site shows the factory that makes the plastic parts, but there is no mention of where the can be bought. Hope someone has a cog, as it would save me a load of cash. Very best regards Wez

Sorry not ignoring you Wez, but I don't have the answer.
Just wanted to say ![]() ![]() ![]() Finally getting both 26E and 7W, no pixelletion. I used my wonderful new toy (my angle guage) to set the motor elevation, instead of using the scale on it. Set it to my exact latitude to within 0.1 of a degree, and bingo. |

Very good news robbo, that might well be what is the matter with my rotor too. I have a spirit level with an angle thingy on it and might try it when I get the chance. I can get well to the west, but the east seems to be out of range after 28.2E, I was getting to seasat 36E before I set the rotor to due west, but my signals are way better now than they were before I moved it.
Very best regards Wez

Hi robbo,
I can't remember what was on it, I was trying to get to turksat 42E for the football on F*x FTA. I was, when my actuator was working, able to get Turksat no problem, but got to wait till I get that sorted, I might just have to get the 36 super jack on the dish again, even if it looks silly, but who is going to see it out here in the country. Where did you get your angle tool from and what did it cost? Very best rehards Wez

36 inch will be too big better suited to the andrews 1.8m dish but it will give you loads more travel east and west
on angle tools mine is this one but got on ebay Wixey.com - Digital Angle Gauge also the motor will need to be adjusted on the polar mount otherwise you will get more on the east or west
