Default 2 Boxes 1 Big Problem

Hi all iv just set 2 euros up in my sisters house 1 downstairs and 1 upstairs did a powerscan everything fine. after the powerscan you get the other screen that lists all the tv/radio chans. Mine at home has got a box with 1/37 in it so has my sisters 1/37. But the box upstairs only has 1/27 when the scan is all finished the box upstairs has a lot of movie chans missing. What could be the problem. I know a easy fix is just to swap the boxes round after a scan. Its bugging me to find out why this would happen.

cheers

Oh the box upstairs runs of the old cable that used to be used for a sky magic eye as it was easyer than running a new cable all round the house. I know this aint the prob as my box at home runs of my old magic eye cable.

I know you think its not a cable problem but to be honest it looks like one as the signal is been attenuated over the longer cable run have you tried a booster upstairs, place the booster downstairs on the cable feed to upstairs.

The best on is a Konig one "The Yellow Brick", but TBH a booster from Maplins or the likes will do the trick.
