HI Mahikis,

In short no chance. You get from Sly what you pay Sly for, in my case now, nothing that is encrypted, except the FTV channels.

If you have a card for another provider, any one, you might be able to use it in a card share and get all the Sly channels that way.

I am afraid that if you want Sly then you pay for it, unless, as I have said by card sharing.

To save you asking, card sharing is where you set up your dreambox, on the net, with the proper software, and then find a server which allows card sharing. To be allowed to use the service you must have an paid up card for some provider, that card is then shared, over your internet connection, with others, who have also got their card in the server, sharing it.

I have never used this side of the dreambox, but it does work well, by all accounts. You will need a fast broadband connection and have it on all the time. Hope that is of help, it might not be that well worded, but i am sure you will grasp the idea.

Very best regards Wez

Hmm - I see rage99 hasnt taken up my challenge yet

There is one way to get all sky channels using a dreambox - its already been mentioned. Its via card share where youliterally share the keys from a valid subs card across the internet via broadband routers.

Its not particularly easy to set up, and most definitely not for beginners to contemplate so the general advise is this

You want Sky = you pay for it

You dont want to pay = you do without

Whilst we dont mind discussion of the very general mechanics of c/s many sites refuse to allow any detailed discussion as it attracts too much attention from the pay tv companies.

BTW absolutely no asking for or advertising of c/s here...

Yeah cardsharing.

It gets you what you want, so stop moaning.

You guys like to contradict alot, no ? You always say - No way to get sky unless paying - next line your saying UNLESS you CS. Even though this is the ONLY way :S
