For a transponders list (a cable.ini) you need a services.xml file specific to your area from a d-box or dreambox, you then have to modify this to suit making a cable.ini for your area. there are cable.ini bruteforce files that will get you most of the channels. Take a look in the downloads section. |

The transponder file in downloads picks up no channels for me, I edited my own freq list, symb 6952 but no matter what freq i try to tune it always finds the same bunch of channels on every scan (only 6 channels)

I had a similar problem with DD when I first tried it..
what I did .. 1. get the service file from my working dbox 2. edit the file accordingly and save it as 5001.ini (very important to have the right transponder freq at this stage) 3. put the 5001.ini file in /dvbdream/transponder folder 4. start dvbdream prog and go to options/frequencly list (this will open a small freq list window) 5. under port 1..delete all freq list that appear there. 6. then click add list and from the drop down menu..select the 5001 file and the click ok 7. then go to channels menu and select scan ( this will open another window) 8. from there you can see a list of transponder (if you created the 5001.ini file correctly)..make sure all the freq is selected (ticked) and click scan button.. it took about 5 minutes to perform full scan on all 27 transpoder that I have in my list... I could try and help compile the transponder file if you have the service.xml from a working dbox in your area... thanks |
