hd tv for ps3, toshiba or lg????

hello again every1
i am at the moment looking to get a 37 inch lcd for my living room so i can use my ps3 and watch blue ray movies
the 2 tvs that i am now looking at are the toshiba 37x3030 and a lg 37lf66 both 37 inch screen size i have been going to elec shops and looking on the internet for the last few weeks and didnt even notice there was a hdtv part to this forum i usually post in cable part
does anyone use these tvs i mentioned or could recomend any
at the moment i can get the toshiba for 6.50pound with 3 year guarantee works out about 7,20 about 10 pounds more than the lg
any help would be appreciated

for 750 its mint. Im using it with an Xbox 360. I ordered this television on sunday and it arrived today at 08.50. Thats quality service in my opinion when you consider i wasnt charged a penny for the delivery either.

i would recommend a plasma fella, picture quality is miles better, i've had lcd, rear projection, sony, tosh, panasonic etc, now have 50 sammy and it beats the best of tv's in my opinon, my opinon only mind
When i plug 360 the games are stunning, not got anything else hd yet, i am lookin for an hd dvb-c card at moment for the media centre.
Anyway i suggest go for the samsung plasma bud, get them same price, you'll notice the difference

LG are a good make, stick with plasma fella, due to your size issues seem lg is only available in 37 unless you can slap a 42 inch and go for sammy

Depends on price your willing to spend bud, if sammy too much for the size, go for the LG fella

So you can walk into comet and say you want £699 for a 37inch samsung and yet i can go to dixons and get a 42inch for £50 less.
Haggle with them, i do always and comet have there price promise, dont fall for its a different model bollox etc as htey might start it, just say well i might aswell get teh bigger version and insurance for less, as you wont be bothered wether it breaks down due to it being an "older" model as it will be insured also, then you'll see the ears prick up, insurance you say they are thinking, dont forget this is where they make there money from insurance, now they wont want to lose a sale, trust me, i can afford these things but turn into a tight t**T when i walk into those places lol, well i'd rather put food in my kids mouths than give it them
Show them your interested if a deal is met, i have done it tend to get free insurance

Forgot to add take a camera and take pics of the tvs in both stores, internet prices are different to in the store, and show them at comet the prices of tv in dixons, they know you've done your homework and will tend to get manager involved in on the deals as he/she is only one that can do them.
Another thing, enjoy it, have a laugh and get what you want

thanks foxy lady for your replys it gets a bit confusing with lcd or plasma at the moment for me but i do want a 1080p 37 inch i do like toshiba as a make and panasonic, i have had a 28 inch widescreen by toshiba and no body has ever heard a woofer like it on a tv before and its just a standard tv, so im hoping some of the lcd plasmas on the market have a good sound to them, i am hoping to spend around 700 pound my brother wants one and now my sister wants one all 37 inch, so im going to see if i can get a deal some where as it will be paid with cash so i hope i get some good discount
