Default Would It Work?

Hey guys, just been given a New Samsung TV for my bedroom, i'm now looking for some sort of channels to watch on it, i was looking at the EuroVox. Now i currently have freeview in my room, it is plugged i through a brown wire coming from my aerial, i was just wondering if i bought a EuroVox would it work using this signal? If so, wheres the best place to buy from? Thanks Guys.
PS. I don't know a lot about these kind of things.....evidently.

No it woulnt, as that is a normal over the air aerial. You would need a cable connection from v!rgn of some kind

You would need to use a splitter to split the cable connection coming in downstairs and then run a cable up to your bedroom from the splitter. Or if the cable is really long then just run it upstairs without a splitter

Hi if you are going to use a splitter make sure when you set up your eurovox that you scan for the channels connected to the main cable coming into your house first before you connect it to the splitter donot connect to splitter then scan as it can lead to channels missing plus signal problems .

Unhappy Re: Would It Work?

i have virgin broadband and have a friend who tried a chipped ntl box on my line into house it was perfect so i invested in a eurovox v2008 with oct 07 firmware. i have tried it straight in without splitter and with splitter it makes no difference pictures pixelate/no signal/code updating etc . i have changed the cable to box to no avail, my lad took it to his house today and got every single channel and no pixelation problems or anything ,everything is perfect,is there any possible answer besides selling it to him and me doing without and crying into my drink for the rest of my days dreaming about lost opportunities, and a derby i have just missed....................
