Hi, I bought a flashed Eurovox v box a few weeks ago. Today it showed NO SIGNAL on screen. I cleared the memory. Rescanned, powerscanned. Checked emu and manually typed in TP's for Dublin usind 6887 on nthell. Tried nthell box which works fine on same connection. On Eurovox I managed to pick up a few TP's earlier but no channels are showing after scanning these. My box seems to have a very variable but high signal on those few TP's. It used to stay around 82% to 85% when it received channels (yesterday!). Can anyone please help on this? My head is wrecked at this stage!

Press menu, config and clear data, clear channel data press OK. Choose normal powerscan using 6887 as symbol rate and a frequency range from 290.000 to 403.000 press OK to scan. Then go back into user installation and press the red button to update channels.
It is important to do this from the direct cable feed into the cable in socket on the back of the box, i.e. take away any splitters, as it looks like a splitter or cable problem that you are having at the moment. If you are still having problems I can give you a CDF for your area and provider, which is already sorted into favs. |

Thanks satsmo. Hope it might just be cable issue and not dreaded 8% problem? Although it has been showing erratic but high signals ranging from 70% to 90%. Will get rid of splitters weekend and let you know. CDF file will really be appreciated if I can get it working after loosing all my favs.
Took me ages to organise them! Thanks again.

Forgot to reply that I fixed this problem along time ago!
Discovered it was a loose cable connection at the back of the box cause by a cheap attenuator! |
