Default Where do i start

I bought a eurovox sometime ago, and like i just said in the eurovox forum i have sold it and am thinking of giving satellite a go, can anyone recommend a decent set up to start with ?

The easiest way to get that is to subscribe to Sky UK

what do you watch, what other kind of viewing is out there. If i wanted to be a subscriber i would'nt have bought a eurovox would i ?

At the moment there is quite a lot to view on satellite, but these don't last forever, and the satellite owners are beginning to fight back.
With a patched receiver you can currently view:
Premiere package 19.2E
TPS, Polsat and SRG packages 13E
Digi TV 1W.

I would reccomend going for a budget motorised dish setup to start with, say a 1m dish and a Diseqc H-H motor. Plus the receiver of your choice, eg TM5400CI, one of the Vantage receivers, or one of the Dreamboxes. The box is your choice, but bear in mind what support there is before you buy.

There is also the option of buying a card for a foreign package, DigitAlb for example, the prices are reasonable.

There is also a large number of free to air channels available.
