Can't get liverpool tv on eurovox with ntl ireland?

Hi all,

just got a eurovox max V the other day.

have it installed and working ok.

can't seem to get the liverpool channel on it though?

i followed the guide that was posted here to get som mising channels,but it still did'nt show up after the re scan.

this is what i followed.....

I presume it is a Eurovox you have, the list I gave for the Eurovox is the transponder list and there are a number of channels on each transponder.

Go to menu, installation, user installation and check that all your transponder frequencies match the above thirteen. If not follow the on screen button guide to edit accordingly.

Also make sure you emulator is on. Go to menu, press language settings, type 1968 on remote and make sure emulator is enabled. Press blue button to save and exit. Then do an autoscan and that should be it."

the software build on the box is kuro and the version is
1.0 STC4 oct 29 2007. i'm on ntl ireland.

what am i doing wrong?

Have you got the 13 TPS I posted above LFCTV is on 394.000.

yes,i have the 13 TPS that you posted.
when i originally set up the box for the 1st time,it only picked up 11,but i saw your post and added the extra 2,now i have the 13 exactly like you posted.

its still not showing the liverpool channel,i think i have everything else,around 130 channels.

am i doing something wrong?

You should have 138 channels so you are missing a TP, press menu, installation, user installation and make sure you have all TPs in the list above.

Press red button to update channels if you do. Make sure you scan directly from the incoming feed.

i have all the tps in the list and i've updated the channels,still not there.

what do you mean about "make sure you scan directly from the incoming feed"??

If you have the cable split or it has been extended do no scan from there. Use the cable point directly from where it enters your house.

ah i see,
the cable is split allright. i wont have a direct feed till monday.

spose thats what my problem is.

i'm sometimes getting glitches on the channels too.

ill get my direct feed put in and do a re-scan,that might solve my prob?

Yep that is your problem but you should already have a direct feed? BTW make sure you use a good quality splitter when you have a split cable.

Did a rescan last month to get LFCTV but couldn't find it. I did however, have problems then picking up 8 channels from a transponder and fixed it

N*L Dublin frequencies are 291.00, 299.00, 307.00, 315.00, 323.00, 339.00, 347.00, 355.00, 363.00, 371.00, 379.00, 393.00 and 403.00.

To manually set frequencies:

Go to User Installation Menu

1. Select channel to be amended
Press Green button - 'Channel Edit'
then Blue button - 'Modify'
2. Change frequency to the correct value
Press OK

3. To add missing frequencies
Press Green button - 'Channel Edit'
then Red button - 'Add'
4. Strictly in the given order:
Type in the Symbol Rate 6.887
Type in the frequency required
Select CH NUM and press the INFO button on your remote
and type in the new Channel Number
Press OK

5. Press Exit to return to User Installation screen
Press Red button - 'Update Channels' (at this point your TV screen may
go blank for bout 5/10 mins but don't panic this is normal).

You should pick up 139 TV stations this way - happy viewing

Satsmo - should I be able to receive LFCTV (by the way I do have a direct feed).

Yes you should, BTW the OP has the 13 TPs his problem is a signal strenght issue. Why can you not receive LFCTV and TBH I am a Liverpool fan and dont think its that good anyway

And you said 139 channels are you counting the new channel Buzz TV I never count that as I consider it a waste of channel space.
