Hi,
What motor is it? One way of finding out which wires are which possibly is to take the cover off the motor, and have a look. When setting up a motorised dish you have to point it at your nearest due south satellite for intitial setup. I expect this is 1W for you. Firstly you need to look up your longitude and latitude. Then go to dishpointer.com and it will tell you the motor angle for that satellite. Place the motor on the pole, pointing roughly at due south. Send the motor to that angle, then adjust the dish elevation and swivel the motor round the pole to get the maximum signal from a good transponder like 11325H on 1W. The pole must be vertical. I don't think it matters if you put the motor wires the wrong way round, the motor will just go the wrong way, so you can just swap 'em
Not sure about the reed sensor wires.

The reed sensor shouldn't matter which way round either, because it just measures magnetic pulses.
If you dont get any signal whilst moving slowly left and right about 5 degrees either way from due south then your elevation must be out.
