Default CAS2 programmer

Hi all,
I recently bought (on Ebay) the CAS2 card programmer. It has 2 sockets on the back, one of which is the 232 (which I have the lead for), but what the heck is the other?, and what does it do, and where do I stick it? (no intimate answers please) lol.
I would be VERY gratefull for any info on this, as I'm quite new at satellite TV. When I first came here, lots of people gave me info, (Mickha was one who helped me a lot).
I highly value the info I receive from all here.

From memory the Cas 2 can have an add on for programming cards and various other things.
I've found the link to duolabs that should explain everything:
