Default Help forcing Virgin software onto Pace Di400-T

Hi,

I got a Di400-T box that still has tw software on, and i would like to update it to the virgin media software.

Is there any tut's available for this.


Or could someone kindly eplain how i would do this.

when you plug on stream it shoould auto update failing that try the 4321 trick which is fav, interactive tv guide tv whoops thtas on a 1000 press the standby button when plugging in and use the directional buttons to get 4321 then press ok.....summat like L R up and down then services button

As spike says, it should update anyway within a few minutes of going on stream - if it doesn't, there is an anti update mod on the 4000 which you may have to reverse - check closely near the atmel (or st micro on a 4000) for evidence of a resistor & capacitor (tiny surface mount ones) having been removed.

New to this forum so not sure if there's one here but I've seen them in 'other places'. Strongly recommend using a scrap box to obtain the correct surface mount parts from rather than trying to solder components with flying leads as the solder pads are too small to support their weight.
