Hi, the dish needs to face south and either side of it, around 45 degrees each way is good.

To find out how to set it up properly look at one of the guides in the FAQS section.

Have a read through those, if you need any clarification, come back and ask.

The aiport could cause a problem if you are very close and a plane gets in the way I presume.

don't think the airport will interfere as i think they will use different signal band

more important is where your going to site the dish on the house or a garden install

Yes it will do, but I assume it is just one of the cheapo types, so it won't tell you what satellite you are pointing at.

I have given up on the satellite finder lately, and now just use a portable TV out in the garden connected to the receiver rf output, and use the meter on the receiver.

Hi,
Got to say that if am in full agreement with robbo. those cheapo sat finders are not worth the money. I find that if you use the portable TV and a receiver you have a much better idea of what you are getting, after all, what you see on the receiver is what you are receiving on the receiver. I have it very easy as I have a dreambox 500s and a 19ins LDC and I can carry both in one hand.

If you can try a small portable, even some monitors can be used as TVs these days.

Very best regards Wez
