Default buying a 2nd sl65

Im looking to get a 2nd sl65 have a b1 chip atm

is there any external way of telling if its a b1 before buying ? Knowing my luck will buy one on ebay and get an A1

also ive seen the 2CI model dose the truman firmware work on these ?

i think the B1's have the cover screws at the back, its documented somewhere here just have to keep looking.

There is no way of telling fom the outside that I know of. There is a guide on Maiden's satboard about identifying the chip but only from internal examination.

No idea about the 2CI. The best source of info would be Nachtfalke, if you can cope with German via Google translation.

i had seen on maidens that the b1 has sl s 65 on the front and the one I have dose just won a 12volt one on ebay for £15 so fingers crossed

ye just sold it on though was offered £50 for it with truman firmware installed so could not turn it down

looking at one more on ebay now let see if my luck holds
