You need to learn some of the satellite basics.
Like what satellite do you have the dish pointed at?
or what satellite do you want to point the dish at?

All the satellites are listed here:
LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite

The ones we can see in the UK are here:-
(bit out of date)

The satellite arc

Once you have the satellite correct, you just do a satellite scan to get all the channels. Some will be encrypted, some won't

USALS is a program to control a motorised dish, do you have a motorised dish?

As for the LNB settings, it would be easier if you posted a screenshot, so we can work out what you are trying to set.

Errm, flashing your receiver will not make a blind bit of difference to what channels you can watch on the "SkY" satellite, i.e the ones at 28E.
To watch all the FTA ones, you just need to make sure that the transponder list is up to date, or perform a blind or power scan, if the box has it.

To watch any Sky encrypted channels a Sky subscription is needed, the same goes for the Dreambox.

However, fit a motor on, then there may be some 'extra' viewing on some of the other satellites.
