Default illegal downloaders

Hi, just read on aol news that government ministers are working on a move to stop illegal downloading of movies and music etc. The isp's are going to be made responsable to warn, then bann any of its users for illegal downloading. I wonder will this extend to certain elements of the satellite world, eg patching, and certain forums etc??

There is already regular raids on patching sites and sites hosting keys. Quite a few big sites were taken out in 2006. This is why we are so careful in not allowing firmware or files containing keys to be hosted directly on the forum

Big brother state. We are not allowed to have any fun anymore! And any fun we have will be taxed!

Sadly enough this is the way the world is turning into right now.

And we can all blaim for the most part the technology that enables certain authorities to do it.

Hell they will be putting a global warming tax on us next, for the reflected heat coming from out dishes and for the amount of carbon we use driving our motors. It is a shame that so few can spoil the fun of so many, but it is just like news corp, all some people have to do is click their fingers and the governments will not only jump, but ask how high.

We who have little enough money are the butt of those who have billions. I see today that Rupert, is def going to make some kind of deal with Yahoo, thank God I never use Yahoo any more. I reckon that Rupert has enough information on us all without him gaining more from Yahoo. Information is a very good thing, in the right hands, but in the wrong hands it is a very dangerous thing. I will leave it to you to decide which type of hands Rupert has.

Very best regards Wez

There are some very powerful ciphers/encryption systems in the public domain. Certainly strong enough to prevent the ISP's from inspecting the contents of your web traffic.

'Net folks and the systems they use will just adapt like they always have done.
