Rossi, is derby/notts ex-CW? (Poplar was CW until about 2001 then NTL bought it - I think!)

There's a bit of kit called Starview Channel Editor (I think)... you run it on your PC while connecting a serial cable between your PC and the starview box. Just need to know how to get hold of it

Right, got all my channels back - thanks for your help everyone

Firstly, did a backup of all my channels (using GTROM to pull the data from the box, Starview Editor to read it).

Then, a factory reset, followed by a full rescan. Unfortunately, you lose any channel order you had them in previously

Used starview editor to move the channels into some sort of order (does anyone know if there's a version of SVE where you can just update an old list with new channel frequencies? This option appeared to be greyed out)

But, it's all back and working!

Also if you are struggling to tune into any channels as I was a few days ago (tried everything froma booster to new cables etc but still couldnt tune into a lot of stations after a factory reset) so what I did was loop the cable feed through my sat box (you could use a VCR) and now picked up everything on the re-tune. A couple of stations where freezing occasionally but thats now gone. So the Sat box is acting as a booster but throwing out exactly the right amount of power as to what the Starview 2 box receiver needs

I dont have starview editor, is there a way I can get the sports channels back without it?
Have you still got ssports 1 screen problem?
After looking through a few forums I would guess that there isn't somewhere that I can simply go and download a fix?
Cheers.
