See if your key emu is on. Press menu, type 1570 on remote and check it.

I had a similar problem last night. Couldn't get sky sports -constantly got Scrambled or bad signal. Checked other premium channels (Sky SD1 + 2, porn channels) and they seemed to be ok. In poplar ex CW area

EDIT: Checked Key Emu was set, it was. I even reset it so it polled new keys.

Just an update on this....

All 4 Sky sports channels (inc extra) are not working. Some of the sky movies channels are not working (premiere, premiere +1, action) but others are (comedy, classics, SD1, SD2 etc). All other premium channels seem ok - the only other one which was "scrambled or bad signal" is hustler and I (honest!) don't know if that was working previously or not.

Does anyone on the popular (ie, east london - romford) CW/N*L area know if the frequencies have been changed?

Any update on this digger?

Do you have the latest keys/codes?

Thanks

Susie

Hi Suzie, unfortunately not. I take it you're experiencing the same problem?

I don't need to put codes in, as I have a genuine Starview 2 box, but I've toggled the "Key EMU" setting to ensure it has updated since this happened.

seems that a few people are reporting problems with freq 643/586 with tv cards in there pc although this is a drop in signal strength rather than losing the channels, the cc must be up to something.

Hi,

I am using Starview 2.57 and lost Sports and some movie channels on Tuesday.

I am ex C+W in Surrey.

I did a factory reset, auto re-scan and EMU on, all channels are back and working fine.

Hope this helps.
Ken

Cheers Ken, that sounds like my problem exactly.

I plan to save my channel listing (it really did take hours to get them into that order! ), rescan, then add the missing channels again.

But, to do that, I need the starview channel editor. I've got the laptop and null modem lead ready, just need the programme. Anyone got a link?

Thanks everyone
