Default Copying PC Games

I installed an original game on my PC, so every time i want to play the game i have to insert the original disk, i made a copy of the disk, i inserted the copy and a message came up 'insert orginal disk'.

Is there a way were i can copy an original game and also play the game?

I had a game for my son that did that, and I wanted it to run from the hard disk, rather than wearing out the original or getting it damaged.

The only way I could fix it was to find a slightly 'modified' version of main exectable from the net.

Try looking on gameburnworld. you will find modified exe files there.
But as always when visiting this type of site looking for these type of things, proceed with caution.
(sent you a pm).

If you have several games or dvds you want to run on your PC then the prog VCD is worth installing.

It sets up virtual cds/dvds on your PC hard drive so that the games run just as if they are running from the cd but much faster loading. I haven't found any protected cd or dvd that fails to work this way.
