Hi All,

I'm a newbie and have read through the form to see if I camn find the answer I need but I think i have to ask as I'm not sure I want to undo the settings on my box by mistake.

The problem I have is that I have most channels that have been pre programmed for me by someone else, the only issue I have is that I dont have s*y sports or the premium movies from s*y. Is there a way of doing a mannual search as they come up as bad channel or Scrambled?

I have not checked the EMU yet could this be it or would that stop all 'subscribed' channels from being recieved?

As you said check the key emu first and the report back if you are still having problems.

Hi All,

Checked the EMu it's on. If I do an auto scan will it create an issue with the software, I was just told not to touch the menue settings when I got the box, however It is running version 4.0 ad according to other posts it should be a genuin box? I want to try scanning the channels but dont want to make things worse, has anyone got any advice? I'm in the sunderland area and the V****n network wich was ex C+W then NTL. ?? Any help would be really appreciated

This is the problem i had last week - the frequencies for most sly premium (sports, movies) channels changed a week ago. You need to do a master reset, rescan for channels, then turn key emu on (again)

Thanks digger, Will this not upset the software or keys that I have been reading about? Also how do i do a master re-set, thanks for the help

icandl,this is what i did,press menu,key in 1570,press default key ,press factory settings then turn off for a minute or two,turn back on ,press insalation and autoscan ex c&w.you should get all your channels back .ok mate have fun

help!!! scanned my starview for the first time and all i got was just 120 channels working no bbc 1, 2,cnn etc. updated to the latest firmware, still no joy ! Help!!!
