can you tell me how to replace the 8 legged chip or reset it? cuz this is what is says and i dont understand any of it! "For you to set the net id and pin you will have to remove the 8 leg chip from the top side of the board located (as shown in pic below) and blank the chip with whichever proggramer you have if you dont have a proggramer to do this i advise you go to Maplins and buy a new chip to replace it, if you have proggramer with the capability to blank this chip you will find that you can't erase it but you can proggrame it. What you do is reset your info to be proggramed to all zero's or all f's this will allow the box to read it as blank."

sorry m8 dont have a clue what your on about lol, to change net id you write files to the card then enter the card into your set up box and it updates and sets the net id.

1. you need a programmer 2. funcard 4 3. net id funcard files which cab be found at the site i give you last time. and thats it.

Hold in standbye > left > right > ok buttons and power up till display says ld6 then let go and wait 10-15 mins numbers will roll when it updates, if your in pure ntl net id will set automaticaly, if your tw or ex c&w it will set to 9999 then you set it with net id funcard, files are in downloads, tut is in sticky top of cable chat, when its set go into eng menu and set frequency ,and pin if you havnt already with net id, you should then have freeview channels, then programme card for all channels.
You cant jtag a 2110 only 2100.

see thats the problem i have a samsung 2110c box! i wont need a jtag then? just a card programmer and a funcard 4?

yes thats corect m8, i got mixed up with the pace box, you need a programmer and funcard 4. i would go with the infinity usb unlimited programmer which is only 40 quid from lincsats nick nacks shop on this site.
