Default DIY help

Hi Guys, Is there anybody using this forum from the Aberdeen area that has a motorised system and could give me some face to face advice and tell me where I'm going wrong, I would be grateful for some tips.

Thanks

So there are sat people near me, thank's for replying, I'm in the Mastrick area.
I've got a pole in the ground and it was fitted with a Motek motor and 90cm fortec dish. I have managed to get power to the motor the first time I tried but not since. I removed the motor yesterday to get the dish higher up the pole and dug out a receiver I use at my cararvan, nothing. There is a block of tenement flats due south across the street, there are 'Sly' dishe's at either side of me about 3m off the ground mine is lower but set back a bit as I'm a gable end terrace.
I've come to the conclusion that I'm either not high enough, or I've bitten off more than I can chew and should have went for 13e, 19e 28e with 3 lnb's and mount it on the gable end wall with tk brackets, I wouldn't get anything west and the wife won't have it on the front of the house.

I didn't manage to get any stats from that position without the motor but by that time I was getting impatiant. I may try again this weekend as the weather looks good.
