Default Getting started

Hi guys, switching over from DBOX to DVB-C, got a C-2300 delivered yesterday.

Can anyone give any pointers for getting started, spent all night trawling through various forums & google and not having much joy

I am in an ex-TW area

Sorry for such a general first post but I was really against a brick wall to start with.

I am 1/2 on track now, I am using ProgDVB and have managed to do a successful scan and can pick up free-to-air fine.

I've got vplug added but havent got the keys yet (digging out old dbox to get it to run of a key file for me).

Is there an easier way to get keys? From what I've read vplug does not support autoupdating, is there any other plugin that does?

Also has anyone had any reliability issues with ProgDVB... it works fine if I dont "fiddle" with it, but as soon as I start touching the options it crashes and then refuses to start up again (just crashes after splash screen) until I reboot.

Finally (sorry for so many starting questions) is there any way with ProgDVB or any other recommended prog to view via remote desktop? I log in remotely from laptop and can view my terrestrial tuner fine (using chris tv) but ProgDVB just shows a black screen - works fine when logged into actual computer.

In vplug click on the first icon on the right at the top (CA-Info tools) near the bottom is Quick-Op key editor it will ask for 00 or 01 or both keys copy and paste these from the downloads section.

BTW Its always a good idea to start another thread when asking for help!
