Quick V+ question - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Hi guys,

Cant seem to find the answer to my question using the search facility so thought someone wouldnt mind answering me this,

I have a couple of normal NTL/VM modded cable boxes but i quite fancy a V+ box. A friend said they had one modded but constantly lets me down so i was wondering if got myself a box with paired card would the record facility work once its chipped? Currently a friend as a box which has a paired card and still shows the freeview channels etc but it doesnt record, i was wondering if i got this chipped would i get the 1 HD channels and would it allow me to record?

Hopefully someone can answer this who has experience with V+

with a paired card on a v+ you can record all channels, hd channels would only work if you have hd tiers on your image, are you c/w pur e

It is a pure NTL area,

As long as the record starts to work thats all i am really bothered about
