Like the way you installed those units with the vertical pipe and exhaust clamps. That allowed increased the the range of adjustments to dish. You do the welding on the angle iron yourself?

I love your set up, As far as the Council is conserned,I am the last house in Wrexham County, next door is Denbighshire and we are rural, so I could in effect put up half a dozen dishes, one thing that interests me is,if a complaint about your dishes is made to the Council as you appear to be in a town/village, does the complaint have to be in writing with a name etc.

I know if its a Council benefits complaint(shop someone) in Wrexham, then
names are not required a kind of witchfinder, not sure about planning complaints in Wrexham, but ill find out also from a council contact.

Like the set up, but green eyes everywhere, like the bastards that move in the Country and complain about the cock crow at dawn, yet go to a nightclub and arrive back on on Sunday morning at 4a.m. shout and slam the doors, then play loud music.

Why not put a load of Sky posters on the gets car,

Ill take a few pics of the meter dishes in Wrexham, put up by the poles
one house has six,OK flats but one house, this will be good for a laugh.

See You

Bob

They are ok as long as you don't want to connect it to a motorised dish.

The receiver has a mind of its own and will eventually point it at the correct satellite after a bit of channel hopping to nudge it into realising its supposed to move the dish

Its probably going to end up in the spare room just for 28.2e to be honest. If you have a motorised dish save your money up and buy a DM600 or a 7020 as the Eaglebox will frustrate you so much you will want to boot it out the window

If your using it on a multi lnb DISEqC system it will work fine and it will be a a fairly good receiver but otherwise i wouldn't bother

I have since replaced it again with a DM600 PVR

I'm just flashing a new image to it now so i will report back later on with my thoughts on how good the 600 is

In all honesty i now regret selling my TM9100 as it was a far superior receiver to the Eaglebox

Thanks for the heads up on the Eagle box, as I was going to get one for a bedroom set up.

I will save my pennies for a 600 now

Im just about getting to grips with the TM9100 now and i must admit im quite impressed with it, and i still have some hair left as well!!! only some though
so im now looking for another box for it to talk to, which is why i asked how you were getting on with the Eagle as i was thinking about one of those, but maybe i will give it a miss now and perhaps get another 9100 instead.

Cheers, Red

Nice set up nanochickin. If i didn't know anything i would think it was wired having 2 dishes on your wall. I don't see why they would complain it not like its hanging in their garden

Do you have a story posted on your first complaint?
