Default Finally finished setup

Well i've finally got my setup the way i want it now

Each receiver now has its own independent motorised dish so i don't have to keep going downstairs to move the main one

The Technomate SG2200 motor is a definate improvement on the SG2100a motor as its quicker and not as noisey I'm getting everything on my 80R (86cm x 82cm) dish that i am on the 90R (97cm x 91cm) dish so i'm more than pleased with it.

Using the DM16c Digimax meter made setting up a breeze getting it on the arc first time. Getting 53e to 43w as it just clears the trees the 90cm can't see through, although the neighbours house stops me getting 30w

Just need to ditch the Twin lnb on the 90R and swap it out for a single lnb and it will be complete

They are both pointing at 1w which is slightly off 90 degrees to the side of the house (5e is directly at a right angle to the house)

The first 24" T & K was put up on the 90cm dish with the view of getting a bigger dish later on, this i have now decided against as i get everything thing i want to watch with the 90cm which explains the first dish.

The second set of T & Ks that the 80cm dish is on was given to me and i'm not one for kicking a gift horse in the mouth which i didn't go out and buy a set of 18" ones and used the freebie 24" ones instead I'm too tight thats my problem

It does have its advantages though. When its windy the wind usually gets blown parallel to the house due to the way the other houses in my road are situated. Being that little bit further away from the house means that when the dishes are parked at 5e they don't get buffeted by the wind which would explain why i have only had to re-align the dish once in 12 months and thats when we had those really bad winds last October

I know who it was last time and i also know they have a nice new shiney 57 plate Audi A4 which is just begging to have a key run down the side of it, People who have nothing better to do than make peoples lives a misery because they're own lives are so sad deserve everything they get

They fook with me again and their car gets it. Isn't it great when you have a friend that works for the council who can spill the beans on who grassed you up

Looking good Nano. I find the Inverto Silver Tech's to be very good for a mid-priced LNB.

Your comments on the 2200 motor being quicker and quieter than the 2100a are very interesting. That's the Technomate 2200 motor, right?

Yep thats definately the SG2200. Looks identical to the SG2100a

Did a test from 53e to 30w on both my receivers at the same time and the SG2200 completed the arc about 2 seconds quicker than the SG2100a
