I have managed to remove the 512 chip, and install a blank one.
Now when i go into the eng. menu, it says 9999 for net id, and 0000 for pin. However when i insert my net id funcard4, the box does not reboot to update. it just stays on the current page. I have set my frequence. Please can someone help me? THankyou

Yeah this is the one i got from ebay, But i know that it has a paired card as i have retrieved the ird and bk, then i used a utility which checks if the ird is correct by entering the nagra serial number written on the back of the smart card, and i done that and it gave the exact same ird that i managed to retrieve from the card.
The only thing that concerns me is that under card status it says "no t-stream", that is when i insert my fun net id card. Can you tell me if that is how it should be ? note that the net id has not been set. Please can someone help me? When i insert the fun net it card, it DOES NOT reboot on page 2, instead the card limit jumps to £5150. What should i do??? And also the pin has not been set and i am allowed to set it but yet i have not. Please can someone help me? i urgently need help. I am in a TW area. Thank you |

Ok. All i want to know is whether it should say no t-stream or not before setting net it? from my point of view, i would think that it would definatly say no t-stream before the net id is set as the box does not know were it is.
Anyway what do you mean by "now depending which box..." I am getting really anoyed by this whole cable stuf, but i know that onces it is up and running, it will be very amazing. Please can some one help. Thankyou |

No t stream normally means no signal , but ive had working boxes that still say that so i wouldnt worry too much, set your frequency and give it a chance to work, you need latest v2 with this box, try turning pages in menu.

Ok, i went into eng menu page 2, and inserted my card. Then the credit went to £5150.50 and the revision of the card changed.
Anyway, after around 5 min, the box restarted. On the front display it said, Boot, then that went away and then the virgin "powering up.. just a moment " message came up, now it has been on that for the past 15 min. What should i do? leave it running... or? Also can you tell me whether this is what usually happens??? (after inserting card, box restarts, and goes to virgin message??) THankyou for all your wonderfull help. |

It has been on the virgin powering screen for around 50 mins, with no luck, so i reset the box, and went into eng menu, But the net id is STILL 9999.
What should i do? I am using a fun card. and am in a TW area. I have been told that in a TW area the pin does not show in the eng menu, however it is showing up on mine. Thankyou |
