Cool a little sky information please

I subscribe to sky from Spain but through a re-seller. I have now done a stupid thing, I only kept his details on my computer which has gone to computer heaven and I have no way of finding out who he is. My card carrys on working because I pay monthly from a credit card to Sky. Now the question I am about to change my digibox and will need to pair my card to the new box. What are they going to ask if I call? Only the card and box number or an address??
HELP

Harvey.

The box only needs to be paired if the subscription includes premium stuff. So if you just have the 6 mix or below, it should carry on working.

I think normally with these subscriptions it is necessary to go through the third party to change anything. When I have rung Sky in the past, they asked me my password and account number I believe.

They will ask for the Password if it's set on the account. They ask for Account number OR Viewing card number to find the account details, they may also ask you to confirm the Name, Address, Post Code & Phone number and of course the new NDS Number.

You might be best cancelling that payment and setting up a new subscription - do you know anyone in the UK?

Thanks for the quick replys. I might be ok then because I dont pay for any premium chanels. Just £21 for the 6 mix. If I cancel and get a friend to do the subscription from the UK can I use the same card or what will I have to arrange?

You would get a new card, which I think would require activation.

You would need a new card, it could be activated without a connected phone line to the box for a one off fee of £25.

As you're on the 6 pack, you should be OK.
