technomate for astra2/eurobird
i gather the 1500 has a card slot ! can this slot be used with a sky card.? without any software changes. ideally i want to use a twin LNB system or two disheson for the FTA/FTV and sky subscription service. is it worth the trouble or would it simply be cheaper and easier to buy another slug box.

TheSky card would not work in the card slot. It would only work in a CAM such as a Dragon or Trex, and it would still not keep the card alive.
Another Sly dodgybox is the easiest and cheapest option. Robbo
