Thumbs down Not such a bargain Dreambox

See #330213008819. Looks good at 49.99 for a new 500S (even if it is a clone), but then see the postage: 59.99!! I know it's become common practice for fleabay sellers to make more profit on the postage than they do on the item, but that's really taking the p***. Seller seems to have a bad attitude, too - hope he doesn't get away with it.

Ebay is not worth it these days.

I used to buy most stuff on German Ebay but the last year or two they are taking more for the product than buying from some shop.

Also as you say they have started making profit on shipping.

What! 60% of my business comes from ebay! and my prices are the same as in my webshop! so all eBayers are not the same.

Cheers

Fleabay is getting to be useless because it is just not worth the postage some are looking, they are just out to rip people off.

I can see the point in some of the sellers from Hong Kong charging a bit more, because they charge so little for the item and it does help as you are not charged any import duty or VAT, when the item arrives.

It is the British and European seller that I have no faith in, it does not cost a fraction of what they chargs for the postage. I am sure that you charge a fair postage cost Southern, but there are many who are out to rip off anyone they can.

Very best regards Wez

Its like the dealers that sold to great prices and attracted alot of customers, one year later they charge premium and the customers still beleive the dealer is cheap because they trust him and are too lazy to check it up themself.

Same goes to Ebay these days, just fing rip offs these days if you buy more expensive stuff which you can most often find more cheap somewhere else.

The other thing is friends who bid on each other auctions to raise the price.

It all comes down to doing home work when buying off ebay, for instance I have my phone number on all listings this way the buyer can call me and discuss an item, and I do get many calls a day.
