Default 30 West Hispasat 1C & 1D

Can some point me in the direction of the footprint for these 2 birds.

At the moment I only have a 60cm dish up and running and I cant get all the European transponders unless its a very very clear night

61west
I've never seen anything off of the feed at 12509V, but the data channel at 12562V is very strong here.

I can get some of the stronger tp's on a zone 1 minidish, but the lnb housing really needs trimming back so the lnb can move far enough anti clockwise

Some of the TP's with channels on I just cant get unless its a very very clear night. I think its the dish, its just to small. Once I get my 110cm motorised system up and running I should be ok.

110 is way overkill for 30W in the UK! I can get all the tp's on an 80 as easy as anything!

Make sure you optimise the skew on the lnb - it needs to be a good bit round.

Easily recievable in UK with a 45 cm sky dish.

But as Analoguesat says, the key here is to twist the skew to about 4 oclock rather than usual 7 0clock (19/13) assumming non motorised.

It took me ages to get it until i realised this. Best to use non sky LNB.
Good luck

I do use a none SKy LNB and its twisted to about 2 o clock when looking from behind the dish, this was the position I got the strongest signals in but there are still some TP's I cant get unless its a very clear night.

I too get a very similar problem on 30w , I can get every tp apart from tp81 11535 V , all the rest are 100% strength with quality greater than 75% ( this does fluctuate ) , I have tried changing the skew and re-aligning the dish but to no avail , could it be a cable problem ?
